methodology
01 / OBSERVATION
In France 40% of the people who had to face an emergency situation felt helpless. Most citizens do not know how to react in those situations ( car accident, agression…). It is especially true for young people. This situation results in the fact that the emergency services receive too many wrong calls. In fact 37% of the calls for french emergency numbers are useless.
02 / statement
Citizens are not rightfully informed about who to call in case of an emergency. Because of this lack of education, they don’t react in the correct way. They create dangerous situations for the victims calling for the wrong person. They also overbook the emergency numbers and stop real victims to be helped.The citizen need to be educated in advance so that they know how to act in case of an emergency.
03 / goal
We want to educated the population in advance, so that they know how to act in case of emergency. How can we bring back citizenship in the way people react to emergencies ? We wish to raise awareness among citizen to use emergency numbers in the right situations. How can this information travel across a neighborhood to alert most people ?
